Overview
Everything You Need, Bundled
A proper estate plan is not just a will. It is three documents working together: a Will (who inherits when you die), an Enduring Power of Attorney (who manages your money if you lose capacity), and a Representation Agreement (who makes healthcare decisions if you can't). Buy them separately and the total is $1,550 for a single person. Bundle them and the Single Full Package is $1,300 — a $250 saving.
The Single Full Package covers one person. The Couples Full Package covers both partners — two wills, two POAs, two Representation Agreements — for $1,800. That's $900 per person for the complete plan, a saving of more than $1,300 compared to buying everything à la carte for two people.
Bundling does more than save money. It keeps the plan consistent. The person you trust with your healthcare decisions, the person you trust with your finances, and the person who'll administer your estate — these can be the same person or three different people, but they should be chosen together so the plan as a whole makes sense. Drafting them in one engagement ensures the documents don't contradict each other.
We see the Single and Couples Full Packages as the right starting point for most adults in BC. If your situation is simpler (you only want a will and nothing else, for example), the individual services are available. If it's more complex (trusts, foreign assets, business succession), we'll quote those extras up front.

Frequently asked questions
How much do I actually save with the package?
Single person: $1,550 à la carte ($800 + $375 + $375) vs $1,300 packaged = $250 saved. Couples: $3,100 à la carte ($1,200 mirror wills + $750 for two POAs + $750 for two RAs) vs $1,800 packaged = $1,300 saved. The savings come from doing everything in one engagement instead of three.
Do I have to name the same person for all three roles?
No. Your executor, your attorney (financial), and your representative (healthcare) can be the same person, two people, or three different people. Many clients name their spouse for all three; many split them across an adult child for finances and a sibling for healthcare. We help you think through who fits each role.
What if only one partner in a couple wants the Full Package?
That works fine — buy the Single Full Package for that partner ($1,300) and the other partner can add anything later. The Couples Package is just a bundle discount; nothing prevents you from buying them at different times.
Can we add extras to the package?
Yes. Common add-ons: registration of your Representation Agreement with the Nidus registry, additional codicils to update existing documents, or a simple inter-vivos gift agreement. Each is quoted in advance — never billed by the hour without warning.
How long does the whole package take?
Most packages are completed in 4–6 weeks: one week for the intake and questionnaire, 7–10 business days for drafting, a week for your review, and the signing appointment scheduled at your convenience. Faster turnarounds are possible if you have a deadline (travel, medical procedure) — let us know on the intake call.
