Cyrus Haghighi is a founding partner at Sinclair Centre Law LLP. His practice focuses on immigration, family law, civil litigation, and appeals, including difficult matters that require careful record review and strategic advocacy.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2012. During law school, he served as an editor of the Alberta Law Review and was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team.
After graduating, Cyrus completed a judicial clerkship with the Provincial Court of Alberta, where he gained insight into judicial process and decision-making. His work since his call to the bar has extended from initial applications and trial proceedings to complex appellate litigation.
Cyrus approaches each matter by identifying the decisive facts and legal issues, explaining the available path clearly, and preparing the record for the court, tribunal, or other decision-maker that will determine the result.
